336th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group

Glover left his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina to fly with the RCAF after he was turned down for service in the USAAC. He finally joined the 4th and rose to command the 336th Fighter squadron. Among his victories was one over an Me-163 Jet on 2 November 1944 and a triple on 21 November 1944.
