79th Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Group

Graham was the second man to make ace in the 20th Fighter Group. His biggest day came on the 18th of March 1944 when he scored a triple. He scored his last victory on the day he was killed. Graham had followed an ME-110 down to the deck and just after the German plane bellied in, Graham made one last pass but as he pulled up he went into a roll, nosed down and went straight into the ground. His P-38, "Susie" was coded MC L with a serial number of 42-67926.
